On february 27 2009 we were invited at the Jazzclub Oase in Siegen/Germany. It was a night dedicated to Jimi Hendrix and we played for almost two and a half hours. Hans Kops made these fotos below.
On february 27 2009 we were invited at the Jazzclub Oase in Siegen/Germany. It was a night dedicated to Jimi Hendrix and we played for almost two and a half hours. Hans Kops made these fotos below.
For four songs we were joined by Hartmut Sperl (keyboards) and Karsten Burkardt on vocals ("If 6 was 9", "Stone free", "The wind cries Mary" and "Foxy lady/Little miss lover").
We had a great time and Jimi's spirit was definitely in the hall. There were a few rarities that people probably heard there for the first time: "Gypsy blood", "Send my love to Linda", "Scorpio woman" and "Valleys of Neptune". There was a lovely audience that did not want us to stop. We want to thank all the people involved that helped us to make this tribute possible. With the power of soul anything is possible ...
